Welcome to Acumen Executive Search’s Hiring For Good Newsletter!
Since we released the Hiring For Good podcast in January of this year we’ve received a great deal of interest and feedback regarding our conversations on leadership. With so much interest in the topic, we’ve decided to launch a quarterly newsletter that shares stories of impactful leaders, keeps you updated on our work, discusses market trends, and provides other valuable information. The impetus for our podcast, Hiring For Good, was to share the thoughtful conversations we have with senior executive leaders with a broader audience. Through 17 years of executive recruiting, Acumen Executive Search begins each engagement spending time getting to know and understand the company and executive team; the alignment needed between the organization’s and candidate’s vision and values; and the nuanced skills and leadership style that will help the organization thrive, both today and into the future. The information-gathering process is lengthy, in-depth, and illuminating. The Hiring for Good Podcast allows everyone insight into these conversations with accomplished executive leaders as they share their stories, choices, and the lessons – making for entertaining and informative content. |
At the end of each podcast recording session, we ask each guest what “hiring for good” means to them. We love that this phrase holds such nuance and is open to interpretation, based on an individual’s values and experiences. At Acumen, we love every understanding of the phrase and have identified the three following values to guide Acumen’s work and is our commitment to clients.
