Acumen Wins PBJ Most Admired Company Award

Most Admired Company

Last week, Acumen was honored as one of Oregon’s Most Admired Companies by the Portland Business Journal. Companies earning the #1 spot were invited to give a 30-second speech. Acumen proudly placed #10, up seven spots from 2024, which feels especially meaningful.

President and Founder Suzanne Hanifin wanted to share her “speech” because recognition like this is never about one person. Great organizations are built by their people, culture, and shared values. This recognition belongs to the Ladies of Acumen and to our many partners and supporters.

Her 30-second speech:
Thank you. I’m truly honored and humbled to be here, especially among Oregon’s Most Admired companies. After 18 years in recruiting and consulting, we at Acumen bring deep experience and care to what we do. We have a proven methodology, incredible clients and partners, and long-standing, meaningful relationships. But what I’ve learned most over these 18 years is this: our success is because of our team. Will the Ladies of Acumen please stand? This award is for you.

A special thank you to Christine Gunter, Molly Norton, Michelle Satter, Farrah Burke, and Tanis Morris, and to our incredible supporters: Laura Salerno Owens, Julie Markee, Tiffany Salzman, Ron Merryman, and Michelle Rios, MA, MCC.
