Suzanne Hanifin

Suzanne is the founder and CEO of Acumen Executive Search. She earned her BS in History and Marketing at Southern Oregon University before going on and earning her MBA at University of Portland.

After college, Suzanne went to work for a Fortune 500 International CPA and Consulting firm. Like most good consultants, after two years she was hired by a client to work in Finance (M&A) with a large Fortune 100 Telecom company.

Suzanne Hanifin moved on to work for both large and small regional recruiting firms before deciding to build her own boutique search firm with a non-traditional model promoting a family culture. A matchmaker for candidates and great companies, Suzanne thrives on making connections.

Suzanne is a co-founder of Leaders and Executives Across Professions (LEAP), member of Vistage and Association for Corporate Growth (ACG).

Karen Anderson

Karen leads the Acumen Talent Search division. She is instrumental in partnering with and helping companies find professionals, to both fit the company culture and excel in their role.

Her passion is helping people, both professionally and in her community.

Molly Norton

Molly has been called “an eternal and passionate connector” and connecting talent to meaningful opportunities is her “why.”  Prior to her decade spent in Executive Search, Molly’s career was focused at the intersection of technology, leadership development, and HR performance management for Kearney, a top global professional services firm. She’s had the honor of working with executives and talent from some of the world’s best known technology companies while placing talent across a broad range of industries. She also enjoys Portland food and wine, spending time traveling internationally, and watching the Portland Timbers with her human family and two dogs.

Christine Gunter

Chris joined Acumen following a successful entrepreneurial career, having owned and operated an emerging retail store. After a successful exit, Chris went to work as a manager for a retail chain.  After 16+ years in the retail space as an expert in customer service, supply chain, logistics, merchandizing, and management, Chris was looking to join the entrepreneurial ranks again.

Chris, a native Oregonian, received her B.S. in Psychology from Western Oregon University. She is excited to bring these assets to support Acumen’s continued growth.

 

Megan Castleman

Megan joins Acumen with over 12 years of leadership experience in Human Resources and Compliance in the financial and technology sectors.  Megan is also a member of the Society for Human Resources Management allowing her to remain up-to-date with ever evolving employment laws and best practices.

Megan strongly believes building a diverse and inclusive workforce while nurturing culture is key to overall success and enjoys the challenge of finding the right candidate for each position.
